About the job

In order to serve the growing market in automation and software control of telecommunications infrastructure and services, NetworkMining seeks to expand its team of developers in Belgium (Brussels) and in Spain (Oviedo). 

This position is part of the back-end developer group. The back-end group develops software for integration and processing of large volumes of telecommunications network configuration data. Each back-end developer is fully in charge of the high-level design, detailed specification and implementation of the software component that is within her/his responsibility. He/she is expected to maintain the internal knowledge and documentation about the 3rd party systems that are integrated into the NetworkMining backend. 

You’ll work from our new office in Oviedo, Spain and from time-to-time you visit our headquarters in Brussels. You will be part of a small but growing team.

Your profile

You have a bachelor or master in Information Technology or Computer Science, complemented with 1 to 3 years (junior) or 3 to 5 years (medior) of experience in software development, preferably with a software product company. You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus.

You have experience with the following technologies:

  • .NET & ASP.NET
  • SQL
  • Visual Basic
  • JavaScript
  • XML
  • Web services (SOAP)

Knowledge of telecommunications network technologies such as WDM/OTN & IP/MPLS and related protocols and software stacks (SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, CORBA, MTOSI, …) is not mandatory but a strong plus.
