Diversity and variety in my role
What I enjoy most about my job is the incredible variety. Sometimes I focus on development, other times more on analysis. I use different GIS tools, exchange knowledge with colleagues, and also handle bug fixing. This variety makes the work both interesting and educational. I’m constantly discovering new things in the field of geo and data management and seeing how these are applied in unique ways for different clients.
Opportunities to grow
At Merkator Group, I truly feel supported in my personal and professional growth. My team lead regularly checks in with me about the projects I’m working on and how I’m developing. Together, we explore what energizes me and which next steps I can take. There’s room to experiment and try new things, as long as you take the initiative. That gives me confidence and motivation.
